In depth
Athens is without a doubt a walking city; but if you wish to see all the major landmarks in a single day, dashing from sight to sight underneath the scorching, summer sun can be taxing.
This tour has been designed to address this very issue: by picking you up with a vehicle, not only do we save hours of walking between archaeological sights and museums, but it also affords us to embark on a driving tour of other major landmarks which are beyond walking distance – most notably, to the breathtaking vista spot at Lycabettus Hill. To find more information about the other sights visited, see: the Acropolis and its Museum; and the Ancient Agora.
As an optional, we can put the vehicle to even better use, and drive you to a hand-picked, locals-only taverna located outside of the city centre, and therefore beyond touristic reach.
